What building sizes are available?
We custom build practically any size. You determine the size that best fits your needs.

What about the building permit?
It is the customers responsibility to apply for the permit if it is required. Check with your city or county officials on any size and height restrictions and the required set backs from property lines. We are happy to provide specifications and drawings for your new building, however, if engineered sealed blueprints are required additional fees will apply.

What about site preparation?
We do offer site prep services, at an additional cost and would be happy to provide a bid to anyone requesting this service. For a Concrete floor, customer will need to provide 3" of level rock base or fill sand. Garage concrete is typically 4"-6" thick reinforced with 2” o/c rebar.

What is the construction procedure?
Once the crew arrives to assemble your building the first step is digging the holes and setting the posts, then girts are attached to the posts. The next step is setting the trusses on the posts, then running vertical 2"x4" purlins on top of the trusses. At this point the wood work is near its end, finishing up with window, and door frame-outs, blocking and bracing. Then the structure may be insulated and skinned with whatever material you choose. It could have wood siding, metal siding, vinyl siding, stucco, brick, or commercial roofing envelope, but sheet metal covering is the most cost effective.

How do I finish the inside of my building?
Standard building packages have an unfinished interior with your dirt, gravel or concrete as the floor. There are many different methods to insulate and finish the interior of your new building. You may want to consider our double bubble insulation installed directly under the roof metal to reduce condensation, you may want standard double bubble wall insulation or you may want to make your building as energy efficient as possible by having your walls studded & ceiling covered, so that your walls and ceiling can be fully insulated with a 5,1/2" bat of insulation (or more depending on post size).

What about doors and windows?
Our sliding doors are top of the line, and you get the added benefit of a door opening to the bottom of the truss. Overhead doors require at least 1' -2'  between top of door to bottom of truss. However, they seal off better than the sliding doors. Standard residential overhead garage doors are 9' - 10' wide and 7' to 8' high, our standard windows are a 3”x2” sliding window. Our standard walkdoor is a 3'x6'8" steel door. In an insulated building you will also want insulated doors and windows, as well as an overhead garage door rather than a slider to ensure a well insulated, sealed building.

How long will the process take?
The average lead time from signing a contract to completion of building can vary from 3-12 weeks, depending on availability of our crews. Typically our crews start the building process within a week of delivery of the materials. Construction time on a standard buildings varies from 1-2 weeks.

How can I reduce my building cost?
To begin with, Post frame structures are more cost effective than steel frame structures as steel structural components cost more than wood, not to mention steel structures come with a stronger, thicker 26 Gauge steel sheeting because sheets must span longer distances. Also steel structures require large concrete piers for each steel column which adds to the overall price. To reduce costs in a post frame structure consider using our quality, cost effective 29Ga metal for siding and roofing, and by staying with a standard 3/12-4/12 roof pitch. A sliding door is slightly cheaper than an overhead door. Also our buildings are bid with 2"x6" girts, but we can bid a building to include 2"x4" girts if requested and the size of the building is small enough to permit the use of 2"x4"s rather than 2"x6"s.

What are the payment terms?
Every project is done on a pay as you go basis. A 50% deposit is required at signing of the contract. Approximately 25% is due when the materials arrive and a final 25% is due upon completion.
